Dr. Chelsea Richardson

Dr. Chelsea Richardson is a postdoctoral fellow in Environmental Toxicology at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Her research centers on marine food web dynamics in the Maryland Coastal Bays. She investigates food web structures using analytical techniques that evaluate gut content, fatty acid content, stable isotopes presence, and mercury levels.

The goal of this research is to determine the complex feeding interactions among the different fish species within the ecosystem and how anthropogenic activities and climate change alter these interactions. Her most recent paper can be accessed here.
